
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has officially shared the proposed examination schedule for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part I and Part II for 2026. The schedule outlines key dates for annual examinations, result announcements, and the admission process for both first and second annual exams across Punjab.
According to the shared plan, the first annual HSSC (Class 11 and 12) examinations will commence on May 20, 2026, simultaneously across all Punjab boards. Along with exam dates, PBCC has also released a detailed online admission timeline for candidates appearing in the first annual exams.
First Annual HSSC 2026 – Admission Schedule
Students planning to appear in the first annual examinations must submit their online admission forms within the following periods:
- Single fee: January 19 to February 11, 2026
- Double fee: February 12 to February 24, 2026
- Triple fee: February 25 to March 9, 2026
PBCC has also announced the tentative result dates for the first annual examination cycle, which will be declared in phases:
- Class 12 result: September 23, 2026
- Class 11 result: October 12, 2026
Second Annual HSSC 2026
For students who plan to appear in the second annual HSSC examinations 2026, the exams are scheduled to begin on November 3, 2026. The admission schedule for the second annual exams is as follows:
- Single fee: September 24 to October 6, 2026
- Double fee: October 7 to October 13, 2026
- Triple fee: October 14 to October 17, 2026
As per the proposed timeline, the second annual HSSC result is expected to be announced on January 12, 2027.

PBCC has clarified that these dates are being circulated as part of a schedule update. Students are strongly advised to stay in touch with their respective boards and regularly check official notifications, as minor changes or board-wise adjustments can occur.
