LAHORE – January 10, 2026: The Punjab School Education Department has officially announced an extension in winter vacations across all public and private schools in the province due to severe weather conditions.

According to the notification issued today under the chairmanship of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, the winter break has now been extended from January 10, 2026 (Saturday) to January 17, 2026 (Saturday).
All schools will now reopen on January 19, 2026 (Monday).
