The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has officially announced the examination schedule for the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual exams. Students across Punjab can now plan their preparation ahead as the dates for both Class 9 and Class 10 have been finalized.
According to the official notification, the Class 10 (Matric) annual examinations will commence on March 27, 2026. The examinations will cover all subjects under the standard SSC curriculum, and students are advised to adhere to the schedule to avoid any last-minute confusion.
Meanwhile, the Class 9 annual examinations are set to begin on April 14, 2026, giving students sufficient time to revise their syllabus after the Class 10 exams. This staggered schedule ensures that both students and educational institutions have adequate time to manage preparations effectively.
A spokesperson from BISE Faisalabad also clarified that students appearing to improve their marks or reappear in failed subjects will take their exams under the same syllabus as their previous attempt. This approach allows students to focus on areas of improvement without facing any changes in the examination pattern.
It is important to note that all boards across Punjab follow a uniform examination calendar, ensuring consistency in the academic schedule. This means the announced dates are applicable not only in Faisalabad but also in other Punjab boards, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Students from these regions can refer to their respective board websites for detailed timetables and exam center information.
Education experts emphasize that early access to the examination schedule is beneficial for students, as it allows them to plan their studies strategically. Students are encouraged to create a structured revision plan, focus on weaker subjects, and take mock tests to ensure readiness for the exams.
Parents and guardians are also advised to support their children by providing a conducive study environment, encouraging regular study habits, and monitoring their preparation progress. With exams approaching in March and April, timely guidance and support can significantly improve students’ performance.
The official BISE Faisalabad notification confirms that detailed date sheets will soon be available on the board’s website. Students are urged to regularly check official updates to avoid missing any announcements regarding roll numbers, exam centers, or changes in the schedule.
With the examination season approaching, students across Punjab are now gearing up for their SSC annual exams 2026. Proper planning, consistent study, and adherence to the announced schedule are key to achieving success in these critical academic milestones.
